Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR)

The MBSR program was developed in 1979 by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at The Stress Reduction Clinic at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Dr. Kabat-Zinn, who founded the Center for Mindfulness in 1995, is widely recognised as a pioneer in the integration of mindfulness practices and meditation into mainstream medicine.

MBSR has been widely researched over more than 30 years in scientific and clinically controlled studies. The evidence-based MBSR program has been scientifically demonstrated to help alleviate psychological and physical symptoms in individuals suffering from chronic stress, addiction, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and other conditions that impact quality of life.
