Dawn’s qualifications include:
- Master of Social Science in Professional Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology
- Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program instructor
- Certified trainer of the .b, Paws b and .b Foundations mindfulness curriculums under the Mindfulness in Schools Project (MiSP)
Dawn is a mindfulness-based psychotherapist and trainer. She completed her training at The Center for Mindfulness (CFM), University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is a qualified teacher of the MBSR program, as well as the .b, Paws b and .b Foundations mindfulness curriculums.
Dawn first experienced meditation as a teenager at the age of 14, using it to cope with stress and life challenges. She holds a personal commitment to practicing what she teaches and embodying the benefits of a well-balanced mind.
Dedicated to helping both individuals and organisations, Dawn has delivered mindfulness and resilience workshops and training to children, youth and adults in schools, voluntary welfare organisations and companies. She is the creator/founder of the popular Resilience and Mindfulness Camp for children.
Having studied and worked internationally in Osaka, Paris, New York and Hong Kong, Dawn is able to relate to diverse audiences by combining pragmatic experiences with her passion for creating purposeful and happy lives.
